A Hybrid Novel Fuzzy MCDM Method for Comprehensive Performance Evaluation of Pumped Storage Power Station in China

Considering the goals of carbon peaking and neutrality, along with their related policies, pumped storage power stations are set to develop quickly in China. The comprehensive performance must urgently be evaluated, which can help investors decision making provide a reference for policymakers. In this paper, hybrid novel fuzzy multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) method combining best worst (BWM) TOPSIS was proposed evaluation BWM utilized determine criteria weights describing stations, while used rank stations. index system China incorporated economic, social, environmental aspects. four empirically evaluated using MCDM method, results indicate that station PSPS2 exhibited performance, followed by PSPS1 PSPS4, whereas PSPS3 had performance. A sensitivity analysis comparative were also conducted. is robust effective.
